God’s Plan = Our Mission

as Jesus says

As disciples (followers) of Jesus Christ, we aim to carry out God’s will and his plan for us. We know God’s will by studying what Jesus’ chosen apostles wrote for our instruction in the New Testament, by the power of the Holy Spirit. In His great commission, Jesus instructed his apostles to make disciples of all nations and teach them what He has commanded. We strive to find and save those that are lost in sin, and help them follow Jesus home.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20

as Jesus did

In his physical life on this earth, Jesus lead by example. Jesus endured all of the temptations that we face in life, but he never sinned. His perfect blood cleanses us from our unrighteousness. He loved us so much despite our mistakes that he died for us.

“This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.” 1 John 1:5-7

Because He first loved us, we love him, and we aim to live by his example in our love for others. It is our goal to edify and encourage one another in our shared faith (Hebrews 10:24).

it’s that simple

Living under the New Testament law of grace, we use the Word of God to answer any and all of our questions about the gift of salvation, God’s will, the church, and worship. Jesus is the way. We desire nothing but to speak what God has spoken.

“If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:11
